Maarten de Jong (verified owner) -
After racing with two FTX Tracers for a year, we can give them a good assessment. The quality is certainly not bad; they ride fast, steer well, and you can make some nice maneuvers with them. However, I find the durability to be mediocre. Several screws have already vibrated loose, and it's hard to find them in the sand. In addition, two shock absorbers have already broken, which, it turns out, isn't covered by the warranty. So, we ordered and installed more expensive (and better) oil-sprung shock absorbers.
Now, after a year, the steering servo in one of the cars is defective.
I'm curious about what the warranty terms say about this. Next time, I'll buy a better quality one.
