The new Losi 1/5 5IVE-TE 3.0 Electric 4WD Desert Truck RTR takes large-scale RC driving to a whole new level. Where the original 5IVE-T revolutionized the market in 2011, the 5IVE-TE 3.0 now sets the standard for power, speed, and durability once again. This fully electric 1/5 scale 4WD Desert Truck combines the legendary reliability of the 5IVE-T platform with modern 12S brushless performance.

Extreme 12S performance

At the heart of the 5IVE-TE 3.0 lies the most powerful Spektrum power system ever delivered from the factory in an RC vehicle. The combination of the enormous Spektrum Firma 560kv 70120 brushless motor and the specially developed 250A Smart ESC delivers breathtaking performance and speeds of over 80 km/h on 12S LiPo power. Prefer to drive a little more calmly? With 8S batteries, this giant still reaches speeds above 56 km/h.

For optimal cooling, the motor is equipped with an aluminum heatsink with dual 50mm cooling fans, ensuring top performance is maintained even under extreme load.

Built for brute force

The Losi 5IVE-TE 3.0 is designed to effortlessly handle the immense power of the 12S system. The completely redesigned straight center differential ensures maximum efficiency and extra durability of the drivetrain. Thanks to the optimized gearing with a new 43/12 ring and pinion gear set and a 67T spur gear, you benefit from impressive acceleration and control.

The chassis and suspension have also been completely renewed:

• New 32mm Big Bore shock absorbers with tapered pistons
• Improved damping and more traction
• Reinforced suspension arms for extra durability
• Longer wheelbase for more stability at high speed

Ultra strong bodywork

The six-piece injection-molded polypropylene body is extremely strong and much more durable than traditional polycarbonate bodies. The flexible material absorbs hard impacts and crashes without tearing easily. Moreover, individual panels are easy and cost-effective to replace.

Realistic desert truck appearance

The 5IVE-TE 3.0 sits on officially licensed KMC KM549 rims combined with gigantic 8.5” Pro-Line Mirage TT tires. Thanks to the innovative Pro-Line Pro-Loc beadlock system, tires are easy to change without replacing complete wheel sets.

The aggressive sidewall styling and realistic tread not only create an impressive appearance but also ensure maximum grip and stability on virtually any terrain.

Maximum control

The new Spektrum 1/5 scale high torque servo delivers a whopping 1000 oz/in of torque for extremely precise control. The included Spektrum DX3 Smart transmitter features handy functions such as:
