The Legendary Supermarine Spitfire – a British single-seat fighter – was used by the Royal Air Force and Allied air forces before, during, and after World War II. This iconic warbird is known worldwide for its elegant form and impressive aerial performance.

De XFly Spitfire Mk.IX is a scale replica of this famous fighter, based on the Mk. IX variant, with a wingspan of 1200mm. The aircraft is built from durable EPO foam and beautifully finished in two matte color options: the desert brown North Africa theme (1943) or the green D-Day invasion scheme (1944), flown by Canadian ace Johnnie Johnson.

With realistic details such as a 4-blade propeller, pilot figure, accurate cockpit canopy, exhaust pipes, cannons and retractable landing gear, this aircraft is a feast for the eyes and a joy to fly.
