Modster BAT Safe Lipo Safety Box 250 x 165 x 100 mm

Everyone knows the risks of LiPo batteries – and some users have even experienced a battery spontaneously catching fire. The MODSTER BAT Safe is specifically designed to mitigate that danger and offers real protection when charging and storing your LiPos.

Safe charging and storage
The batteries can be charged directly in the box, while the charging cables are routed outside through a fire-resistant opening. In the event of a fire, excess pressure can escape through ventilation openings at the top. The smoke is filtered to ensure that no harmful substances are released.

Extremely heat-resistant.
In the event of a fire, temperatures of up to 800°C can occur inside the box. However, thanks to the special insulation, the exterior remains relatively cool – the bottom and sides reach a maximum of 80°C . Escaping gases are vented at a maximum temperature of 150°C .

Capacity and Use
The BAT Safe is suitable for battery packs up to 60Ah (60,000mAh) per cell.
Example: 2 x 6S batteries of 5000mAh can be charged and stored without any problems. For larger battery packs, we recommend the BAT Safe XL .
